Things to in Miami

February 17, 2024 we celebrated karaoke in the gardens in Miami Gardens Florida held quarterly. This event is a community-based free event which at times host more than 10,000 patrons from the South Florida area.

The event has three different DJs and allows those who attend to come out bring their own chairs and sit and do a live community karaoke contest. You can sign up to sing rap or do any song it's such a cool thing . It can be family fun but because it's so crowded I personally would not bring any kids that are little I would say under maybe 12 years old . The event is huge and a lot of times you may not see the screen but the great thing about the city they have additional screens station all over the park where you can watch it on a big screen if you can't physically see the stage.

Is a foodie there were a ton of food trucks to choose from my advices to go to them early because they tend to sell out super fast. The good thing is if you do not want to purchase anything from any of the food trucks , you are allowed to bring coolers with drinks and food which will be checked at the front.

The event runs from 4 to 10 PM which to me is such a big time frame because by 7 o'clock I'm typically tired. Overall it is such a great experience a great job from the Miami staff . There is great police presence , city presence , Vendors bringing the community together.

You are able to get tickets on a eventbrite when the next one comed available. Be aware the line is super long by 4 PM when the doors open there's almost 400 to 500 people in line. The earliest we've seen people started lining up was 1 PM. Insane I know but the people seem to love it and are willing to get there that early.
